The League of Women Voters of the Ann Arbor Areawill host a forum tonight for the Democratic candidates running for State Representative of the 54th District.
Six candidates will take part in the event that starts at 7:00 PM at the Riverside Arts Center in Ypsilanti. The League of Women Voters did not want to disclose what questions they will ask the participants, but they did say it's about current issues that impact the district. ShoshannaWechter is a spokesperson for the league.
"While choosing from two people is difficult, choosing from six is even more. We have people with different wide ranges of experiences, different kinds of endorsements, different backers, different viewpoints."
State Representative David Rutledge is not running for re-election because of a term limit.
