Chris Ayotte

You might feel like you're in Las Vegas this weekend if you stop by Riverside Park in Ypsilanti.

"Are you lonesome tonight? Do you miss me tonight?" (Singing)

Chris Ayotte will be one of ten professional Elvis tribute artists who will be performing this evening and tomorrow at The Michigan Elvisfest.  He says it's one of the largest Elvis events of its kind in North America.

"I think its because of the local support and the organizers, Mary Decker, the town of Ypsilanti and just the Elvis enthusiasts."

This will be the 18th year that the festival will be hosted in Ypsilanti.

"Oh, thank you, thank you very much," said Ayotte in his Elvis voice.

The event helps raise funds forYpsilanti Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity.
