The Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau has changed its name and is rebranding itself.
It's now called Destination Ann Arbor. Spokesperson Margaret Wyzlic says they want to use the global name recognition that Ann Arbor has to not only attract visitors but students, business owners, and the public in general.
"Businesses have all kinds of different needs. And we really think that, within Washtenaw County, there is a great spot for business owners, whether it's in Manchester or in Milan or in Saline or Ypsilanti or Dexter or any of the other communities."
Destination Ann Arbor will continue to promote campaigns like Ypsi Real, after merging with the Ypsilanti Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
