Warren Wins Democratic Primary In The 55th State House District

A current state senator is likely to become the next representative for the 55th State House District. Rebekah Warren is being term-limited out of the senate. She was elected to the senate while serving as the 53rd District State House Representative and, under term-limit law, is eligible to serve one more term in the House.

Warren defeated Shauna McNally in Tuesday’s Democratic Primary and will face Bob Baird in November. Baird won a three-person race in the Republican Primary.

Democrat Adam Zemke is the current representative in the 55th District. He is being term-limited out of office.
