The Washtenaw Chapter of Families Against Narcotics, known as FAN, is using a different approach during the coronavirus pandemic to help those who are recovering from an opioid addiction.
The group is offering free virtual yoga classes on Wednesdays via Zoom. Mario Nanos is president of FAN and says maintaining a sense of community during the pandemic is essential for those in recovery.

Anyone can register for the yoga classes on FAN’s website. The group is also offering peer-to-peer virtual counseling for those in recovery.
