Pittsfield Township Provides $50,000 In Grants To Help Small Businesses

Pittsfield Township

Pittsfield Township is providing 50-thousand dollars in grant funding to help small businesses struggling during the coronavirus crisis.

The money is being added to the Washtenaw Small Business Emergency Relief Fund with the stipulation that it can only go to businesses located in Pittsfield Township.

Businesses will be able to qualify for between 1 and 5 thousand dollars, depending on how many people they employ.

The grants are part of a larger effort to provide local businesses with short-term financial relief while they seek out additional assistance from the state and federal governments.
