The Ann Arbor YMCA is expanding its school-age programming to meet the daycare demand during COVID-19.
On September 14th, the Y will launch an in-person childcare program for kindergarten to third grade students who will be learning virtually this fall because of COVID-19. Toni Kayumi is the president of the Ann Arbor YMCA and explains who qualifies to enroll their child in the program.
Toni Kayumi: Those individuals who aren’t working from home, who, therefore, need a place for their child to be because they won’t be able to take care of their child.
The Y also plans to launch a similar child care program for older school-age children this fall. For details, visit the Y’s website.
