Ypsilanti Township's Civic Center Open Only For Voter Registration And Voting Monday And Tuesday

Ypsilanti Township

The Civic Center building in Ypsilanti Township will be open only for voter registration and voting Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday, November 3rd.

Residents who need to get building permits, pay taxes, or conduct any other type of township business will need to do it by phone or email on these two days.  Township Supervisor Brenda Stumbo says the change will allow for social distancing inside the building and free up some of their staff to help with voter registration and to process absentee ballots on Election Day.

Supervisor Brenda Stumbo: The clerk’s office has been working and asking for overtime because they need help.

Stumbo adds that social distancing signage has been placed around the Civic Center to ensure that voters follow COVID-19 safety guidelines while inside the building.
