For the first time in it 57-year history, the Ann Arbor Art Fairs will include a Sunday.

There are several churches in or near the area of the Art Fair, and they have been meeting and planning on how to deal with the change.

Bob Livingstonis the senior minister at the First Congregational Church of Ann Arbor.  He says they are on board and will see how it works.

"This is a trial for all us, and we'll see how it works. But we have had lots of conversations before it. The churches are also very much committed to keeping Ann Arbor a very vital place."

The Ann Arbor congregational church will be handing out parking vouchers to people who attend services to park in nearby lots, because, unlike typical Sundays, there will be a charge for parking on Sunday.

Other Ann Arbor churches, which offer parking in their lots during the Art Fair as a fundraiser, are encouraging members to park in nearby lots as well and will offer a parking pass that's good for the entire day.

The Sunday Art Fair hours are from noon until 6 PM.
