THRIVE Collaborative says site plans have been submitted to the City of Ann Arbor for the self-sustaining, eco-sensitive development.  THRIVE Collaborative founder Matt Grocoff discusses the future of the development with WEMU's David Fair in this week's "Issues of the Environment."

Site Plan / Zoning Submission:

On October 24, THRIVE Collaborative submitted site plans and PUD Zoning to the City of Ann Arbor for Veridian at County Farm.  The City is now reviewing the application and could go to City Council by early next year.

Living Community Challenge:

THRIVE Collaborative is getting set to announce the Veridian at County Farm project is registered for the Living Community Challenge through the International Living Future Institute.  LCC is considered the world's most rigorous sustainability standard and is base actual performance rather than modeled predictions.

UN SDG Gallery Honor:

The Earth Institute at Columbia University has announced Veridian at County Farm is included in the United Nations gallery of projects around the world that exemplify ways to accelerate the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Innovative Crowdfund Investment:

THRIVE Collaborative has begun a soft launch of a Crowdfund Equity raise on the Localstake platform.  It will allow people in the community to invest locally in a sustainable neighborhood with an opportunity to earn a financial return.
