Drummer And Bandleader Adonis Rose Returns To Ann Arbor This Weekend

Adonis Rose sat down with Michael Jewett to talk about bringing his new project, a scaled down version of his New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, to play one of his favorite venues.  He also responded to hearing the sad news of the recent passing of producer and Criss Cross Jazz label founder Gerry Teekens.

Michael Jewett is the long-time host of 89.1 Jazz every weekday afternoon. Besides his on-air work; Michael is WEMU’s Operations Manager. Mr. Jewett started working for WEMU in 1983. He’s been on the air longer than any other current WEMU music host.
