A2Y Regional Chamber Helping Businesses Prepare For A Possible Second Wave Of COVID-19 Cases

A2Y Chamber

The Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Regional Chamber is helping local businesses prepare for a possible second wave of coronavirus cases this fall.

The chamber is providing business owners with information on where they can purchase personal protective equipment and cleaning supplies to stock-up while supplies are available.  Andy LaBarreis the executive vice-president of the chamber and says businesses that don’t have a website are being encouraged to create one to sell their products online.

Andy LaBarre: From a mom and pop small business shop, from an individual organization level, ecommerce is most important it’s ever been.

The chamber is also connecting businesses with the Washtenaw County Health Department, so they know what steps they have to take in case there is an increase in COVID-19 cases later this year.
