The mass shooting in Orlando has once again brought the issue of gun control to the fore.

State representative Jeff Irwin from the 53rd district says there are over a dozen gun related bills in Lansing--either for or against control.  And while the shooting in Orlando has a lot of people talking, Irwin does not believe much will get done with the current bills.

"If past is any indication of the future, this tragedy will be ignored like San Bernadino and Sandy Hook were."

However, the state representative does believe new gun-related bills could be introduced.
