Researchers from Eastern Michigan and Wayne State Universities are coming together online Thursday to discuss healthcare in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They're holding an online webinar to discuss the impact the coronavirus is continuing to have on health care, and what can be done to improve things moving forward.
One of the webinar's hosts, Dr. Renuka Roche, says one of their goals is to identify problems with current healthcare policy and find ways to improve them.
"What are the opportunities to develop these national and global healthcare policies, not only around COVID, but around healthcare in the world," says Dr. Roche.
Dr. Roche says they also intend to discuss how the coronavirus pandemic has revealed cracks in the healthcare system.
