If you requested an absentee ballot for Tuesday's primary election and have not received it, you still have another option to vote today.
Ypsilanti City Clerk Andrew Hellenga says, no matter what city or township you live in, if you haven’t received your absentee ballot you can go to your assigned polling location and vote in person. Hellenga says you will need to sign an affidavit before voting at your precinct stating that you didn’t receive your ballot in the mail.
City Clerk Andrew Hellenga: We want to make sure we have an account for each ballot that was sent out. So, if you do eventually receive it, we would greatly appreciate it being returned.
If you don’t know the location of your polling site, you can contact your local clerk’s office.
