Washtenaw Community Violence Intervention Summit

Violence continues to be an issue in our community. There are so many ramifications, both societal and deeply personal. On Monday, April 28th, the 3rd Annual Washtenaw Community Violence Intervention Summit will begin. WEMU's David Fair talked with two of the participants in the upcoming two-day event: Stacey Mack, who lost her son to gun violence in 2024, and Washtenaw County Racial Equity Officer, Derrick Jackson.
