Winter Weather Forces School Closings, Slows Morning Commute

With 6-9 inches of snow expected today, all public school districts in Washtenaw County closed for the day. There is a long list of private and parochial closings, as well. The entire list for Washtenaw and surrounding counties can be found here: 

There are multiple accidents on area roadways, and motorists are urged to stay home, if possible. If not, allow plenty of extra time for the commute.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3pm. A total of 6-9 inches of snowfall is expected today.
