Ann Arbor's Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has started focusing on what it can do to improve the city in 2016.

The DDA announced it will offer grants to encourage alternative transportation programs, including improved transit service and additional amenities for bicyclists.

It will also begin work on a new streetscape design for the South University area.  Another project involves remodeling the parking structure at4th& William.

The work won;t stop there. The DDA plans to invest in gathering additional data about downtown area activities to determine other areas that may need further improvement.
