Ann Arbor's city council will have a working session tonight.
A pavement asset management update will be presented. Previous numbers revealed that 27% of the city's paved roads are in bad condition.
Council member Chuck Warpehoski from the 5th ward says the city will consider road repairs differently in the near future.
"We're shifting to a more proactive approach where we say that maybe they're not the worst roads, but if we put a little bit of money into them now, in terms of pavement maintenance, we can keep them in good shape for longer."
Council will also discuss projects for the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport.
