Public Input Needed On Proposed Dog Park In Ann Arbor

City of Ann Arbor

The city of Ann Arbor is exploring the possibility of opening another dog park.

Broadway Park has been selected as a possible site for the project.  The city will host a public meeting on February 23rd at City Hall to get input from residents.  Those who can't make the meeting can take an online survey that's currently being offered by the city as well.

City park planner AmyKuras says Broadway Park was selected, because it's close to downtown.  Ann Arbor currently has two other dog parks, but the demand for them is growing.  If the project does through, the park could open next summer.
