Democratic candidates for the 53rd State Congressional District will debate Saturday.
Washtenaw County Commissioner YousefRabhi and Steven Kwasny, a member of Eastern Michigan University’s College Democrats, will debate issues important to Ann Arbor residents tomorrow afternoon.
The event takes place at the Ann Arbor Community Center at 1 PM, immediately after the monthly meeting of the Washtenaw County Democrats.
Rabhi announced his candidacy last year. Kwasny entered the race in April. Both are competing for the seat being vacated by Democrat Jeff Irwin.
A third candidate, Samuel Bissell, is running for the 53rd District as a Republican.
