Delegates from across the country are in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention, and Washtenaw County is represented.
Chris Savage is the delegate for the 7thCongressional District, which includes Washtenaw County. He will vote for Hillary Clinton at the convention. The delegate knows that many people in Washtenaw County still support Bernie Sanders.
"Since Senator Sanders has endorsed Secretary Clinton, I do believe we are going to see generally a lot of unity frankly. And I believe the role that the Sanders delegates will play will be one that their voices are represented."
Savage, who is also the chair for the WashtenawCounty Democratic Party, says he has not doubt that Clinton will beat Donald Trump in November.
