The Washtenaw County Road Commission is ramping up its efforts to educate the public on roundabouts.
Results from a local study revealed that 76% of drivers questioned are neutral about roundabouts. But the number one thing they pointed out is that the Washtenaw County Road Commission should do a better job with public education.
Mark McCulloch is an engineer with the commission.
"We're trying to form partnerships where we can across the county--with schools, with senior centers, other agencies, other cities--where we can come and do presentations, and we talk about roundabout education."
Groups interested in receiving presentations on roundabouts should contact the road commission to schedule a meeting.
