Trump Will Visit Ypsilanti Township On Thursday

Wiki Commons

President Donald Trumpwill be in Ypsilanti Township this Thursday to tour Ford’s Rawsonville plant.

It’s part of a trip to thank businesses that are producing Personal Protective Equipment and other medical supplies during the coronavirus pandemic.   Ford is using its Ypsilanti Township facility to produce ventilators.  Congresswoman Debbie Dingell from the 12th District believes the visit is more like a campaign stop but hopes it sheds light on how resourceful Michigan is.

Congresswoman Dingell: We are at the forefront of innovation and technology, that we can quickly change a plant that was producing autos to a plant that is producing ventilators.

The congresswoman says she has not been invited to tour the plant with the President.
