Results: Augusta Township Primary Races

In Augusta Township, there were primary races for Clerk, Supervisor and the Township Board of Trustees. 

Kimberly Gonczy has won the Democratic primary race for Augusta Township Clerk, defeating Iva Jo Bielec 690-282.  Gonczy faces no Republican opposition in November.  She'll replace outgoing clerk, Belinda Domas, who did not seek reelection. 

Incumbent Brian Shelby won the Republican primary for another possible term as Augusta Township Supervisor. He'll face Cath Howard in November.  Howard won the Democratic primary over Richard Deitering. 

Incumbent Linda Adams, Kathleen McDonald, Terrance Greena nd David Hall were the top vote-getters in the Democratic primary for Township Board of Trustees.  They advance to the November ballot where they will be joined by incumbent Republican Christopher Ortiz and Deborah Fuqua-Frey.  The top four vote-getters in November will win seats at the board table.
