The northbound side of the Warren Road overpass on US-23 in Ann Arbor Township was demolished over the weekend. The bridge was irreparably damaged when it was struck by an over-height construction vehicle.

Traffic was snarled on US-23 and M-14 for hours after the crash and resulted in a highway closure until Sunday afternoon.

A backhoe being towed on a trailer was too tall and struck the northbound side of the bridge. Two other vehicles were damaged by concrete debris, but only one non-life-threatening injury was reported.

The bridge was irreparably damaged and was demolished over the weekend.
