Wallenberg Medal and Lecture

On October 10th, Lucas Benitez, co-founder of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) and a key leader in its Fair Food Program, will visit the University of Michigan to give a major lecture, “The Fight for Fair Food and the Future of Worker-driven Social Responsibility,” and receive the Wallenberg Medal for his advocacy on behalf of farmworkers.
