Ann Arbor City council leadership will remain the same. Ann Arbor Mayor Christopher Taylor was re-elected after running unopposed.
He says his next term in office will be about improving basic services and enhancing quality of life in the city. Taylor was first elected to Mayor in 2014, replacing longtime Mayor John Hieftje, who held the office for 14 years prior.
"For me, that means making sure we are continuing to ensure our roads improve. Making sure that storm water delivery and our water continues to be safe," Mayor Taylor said.
Mayor Taylor also stressed that enhanced rail service and a new train station for the city of Ann Arbor are also priorities for him as he begins his next term.
