Patrik developed his passion public radio through his first love, the performing arts and live music that started in high school. Shortly after beginning his studies at EMU, a film professor exposed him to "Cinema Chat."
After listening and being an active volunteer for the station for a few years, he was hired in 2012 to assist with producing music programming and live events, advancing to handling many other production roles in the station, and moving on to digital management. Before Patrik joined the WEMU team he worked at Ann Arbor Community Television, the Princeton Review, and many service industry gigs in varying capacities.
