Duo Security Co-Founder And Wife Helping Local Small Businesses

WEMU

The co-founder of Duo Security in Ann Arbor and his wife are committing $1 million in short-term, emergency relief grants to help small businesses in our county that are being affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Through "The Song Foundation," Dug and Linh Song want to help keep employees on the payroll and businesses operating during this tough time.  Dug says they're working with the Washtenaw County Office of Community & Economic Developmenton the project that's taking into consideration the number of employees a business has.

"If you're a home-based business, it's up to $1,000. If you're under 10, it's $2,400 If you're over that and up to 50, it's $5,000"

Businesses selected to receive the grants could get them within days of being approved.  Those interested in applying can do so at www.washtenawsbf.com.
