EMU and U-M's gymnastics teams have a lot to cheer about. WEMU's Heather Irvine has more.
Both the EMUand U-Mwomen's gymnastics teams are headed to the NCAA tournament next week. EMU won the MAC, while U-M placed second in the Big Ten and are seeded first in their region.
U-M's men's team is also headed to the NCAA after the Big Ten championship.
Eastern's coach,Katie Minasola, is really proud of her winning squad.
"First time in four years that we've made it as a team. Big feat there for us to accomplish after coming off the MAC championship title and just coming into the NCAA regional tournament. Really excited for that."
The tournament starts next week with the championship for April 17th.
