The Ann Arbor District Library is offering a rare glimpse into the city's past through a series of video tapes made during Ann Arbor's sesquicentennial celebration in 1974.
Amy Cantu is Productions Librarian for the Ann Arbor District Library. She says the video tapes were converted to a more modern format and are now available online to honor the city's 190th birthday.
The series of seven videos look at different areas of Ann Arbor's history, such as politics, church, entertainment and business.
