Saint Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor has been named one of the nation's top 100 hospitals by Truven Health Analytics.

This is the fifth year in a row it has made the list and the eighth time overall.  The hospital's president, David Brooks, says this is a big accomplishment.

"There's about 5,000 acute care hospitals in the country. So, to be one of in the top hundred, obviously, is a pretty significant pinnacle of success. It just shows the amazing of our caregivers, our doctors, our nurses, and the rest of our staff."

Brooks attributes their success to a variety of factors, including their efforts to recruit specialists, upgrade the hospital's technology, and improve the staff's training.
