You may have seen the signs posted on your commute, but a major local freeway closure begins tonight.
Beginning at 9:00 tonight, M-14 will be closed between Main Street and Miller Road through August. M-14 access to Main street will be maintained at all times along with access to the Miller-Maple road interchange.
Officials with The Michigan Department of Transportation say construction will take place in stages to minimize the impact on motorists and residents and detours will be posted and will include US-23, I-94 and M-14.
