Washtenaw County's Board Of Commissioners Moves Closer To Choosing Next Administrator

Washtenaw County

The search for a new Washtenaw County Administrator could be the focus of Wednesday's Board of Commissioners meeting.

The county has been searching for a new administrator since its previous one retired last May.

CommissionerAndyLaBarre says they're waiting to hear the results of a leadership profile for the 2 remaining candidates.

"We should be getting that back very soon, be able to look at it and hopefully make a final decision on one of the two candidates or barring that some sort of change or extension of the process."

He adds if the assessment is ready, it's possible they could choose the county's next administrator tonight.

The meeting is being held at the Administration Building in downtown Ann Arbor.  It starts at 6:30.
