How Your Beliefs Can Impact Your Work: A New Book And Presentation With Ari Weinzweig

As part of a series of thought provoking books for personal empowerment and improved work outcomes, the CEO and co-founder of Zingerman's, Ari Weinzweig, is about to release a new book, "The Power of Beliefs at Work."  He will also be speaking early Wednesday morning April 6th as part of the Zing Train speaker series about the ideas he learned after years of research.

Weinzweig spoke with me about the "beliefs of which one approaches a situation."

Weinzweig found if we believe that good things are going to happen, and that we can make a positive difference, you will get some positive results.

He said you have to believe that you can make something good happen before you start the work to make it happen.  In the workplace for example, if staff doesn't believe in the product or management good things are not as likely to happen.  Conversely, Weinzweig says when a manager believes in their employees, a lot more good things are likely to happen as well.

When you believe people are are generally good, you are more likely to create good outcomes.
