FBI Investigating Leads In Food Tampering Incident At Whole Foods In Ann Arbor

FBI

The FBI says they have "some promising leads" in a food tampering incident at an Ann Arbor Whole Foods.

Law enforcement officers are looking for a white male seenpouring an unknown substance onto food carts. He was caught on surveillance video entering the store on April 24.  The incident happened at the Whole Foods on Eisenhower Parkway.

FBI Spokesperson Jill Washburn says initial tests on the substance indicate that it’s non-toxic.

“We do have some promising leads that we are diligently working at this point.”

Washburn asks that anyone with information contact the FBI in Detroit or the Ann Arbor Police Department.
