Additional safety measures are being implemented to help protect public transit users from COVID-19.
The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority, also known as TheRide, has reduced the maximum number of passengers on each bus to 15 riders.
It also requires passengers to wear a face mask and stay at least 6 feet away from each other while on the bus or at one of TheRide’s facilities.
The organization has also canceled its Michigan Flyer and AirRide services and reduced operations along more than twenty of its bus routes until further notice.
