EMU Adds Cleaning Supply Delivery Service To Its COVID-19 Safety Plan

EMU

With a single-button speed dial, Eastern Michigan University faculty members can now request cleaning supplies to be delivered to their classrooms during COVID-19.

The service is available in 355 classrooms across campus.  As part of its #EMUSafe initiative, the university wants to make sure disinfectants and wipes are available to help protect the health and well-being of everyone on campus this fall.  EMU Spokesperson Geoff Larcom says the university’s IT department programmed classroom phones to quickly connect with the facilities department.

Geoff Larcom: This thing is one of many elements in the EMU Safe Plan that’s meant offer peace of mind to students, faculty and staff.

Classrooms at EMU have already been equipped with cleaning supplies during the pandemic, but the new delivery service will also ensure that they remain stocked at all times.
