Art & Soul: The Art Of Well Being - Manifesting A Healthier You Even In A Pandemic

Cherisa Allen

When we talk about improving our health, a good way to start is what is happening in your mind and emotions even before getting to your body.

WEMU's Lisa Barry talks with Ypsilanti life coach, author, and social worker Cherisa Allen about "manifesting a healthier you" and how even during a global health crisis that is possible.

Cherisa Allen says, "You have to get yourself into a good mental and emotional state before you can even start working on improving the physical part of yourself."  She says the mind, body, and soul connection impacts your mental health and your emotional well being which all must be considered together to get to a healthier you.  She says she's always encouraging people to be the best that they can be.

She says our current global health crisis has given some people more time and opportunity to think about what's important in their lives and reprioritize moving forward.

2020 Women's Exchange of Washtenaw Forum

The annual WXW Forum has always been a day for gathering together, learning together, and networking together with incredible women who change the world one day at a time.  This year, we are ready for the challenge of bringing you all together virtually as we create an energizing, inspiring experience.

This unprecedented time gives us the extraordinary opportunity to kick off the first steps of our redesign with a live example—a virtual event that includes more diversity, more flexibility, and more creativity than you have seen before at our Forums.

Our fabulous workshop facilitators have embraced the "Redesign the Paradigm" theme and will give you tools for thriving through the pandemic and beyond.
