Pop-Up Flu Shot Clinics To Be Held This Weekend In Washtenaw County

At least two flu shot pop-up clinics will be held this weekend in Washtenaw County.  


The first is Saturday at the Civic Center in Ypsilanti Township, presented by Michigan Medicine and is only available to adults 19 years of age or older.  The second will also be held on Saturday at the Christian Love Fellowship Church in Superior Township and is being conducted by the Washtenaw County Health DepartmentRuth Kraut is the county’s deputy health officer and says the church clinic will provide flu shots to anyone over six months old.

Ruth Kraut: We talk about flattening the curve and keeping people out of the hospital and every year people are hospitalized because of flu.
