U-M Museum Of Natural History To Host Virtual Event This Saturday

U-M Museum of Natural History

The University of Michigan’s Museum of Natural History will offer a virtual event this Saturday, December 5th as its doors remain closed to the general public during the pandemic.

The event is called "Meet a Scientist" and will take place between 10 am and noon through Zoom.  Alicia Comer is the science outreach manager for the museum and says kids and adults will be able to watch scientists from the museum’s Science Communication Fellows Program, discuss topics such as how to measure drinking water quality, and looking inside the human brain.

Alicia Comer: And what we’re really trying to do with this particular program is to really provide some interaction with people. So, there will be time for question and answer. We’re asking participants to leave their cameras on, if they’re able to.

The event is free, but you do have to register to participate.  For more information, click here.
