Bob Phillips has been doing stand-up comedy for nearly two decades.  He appears regularly around Michigan, including at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, and co-hosts a comedy podcast called "The Sal & Bob Show."  He said some comedy clubs offered Zoom shows, which he admitted was difficult to do with no live audience present.

Phillips says he will incorporate a few jokes about vaccines and other experiences related to this past year into future performances, but he says, on the other hand, some people are looking to forget about what has happened and just enjoy a few laughs.

Phillips will join three other comedians for an upcoming event they're doing on behalf of the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase to help out the owner, who, like most other local venues, has been hit hard by the pandemic quarantine and lack of in-person performances.

You can follow Bob Phillips on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
