Don Hicks says "jazz runs in our veins" at the Blue LLama Jazz Club in downtown Ann Arbor.  He says while the live jazz hosts and the music they share helps keep the tradition of jazz and blues music alive, the Blue LLama jazz club is the counterpart providing live music performances.

He says jazz is nothing without live music, saying "it's part of the experience" but asks would we even have a community to connect with if WEMU wasn't here keeping the music flame going.
