An acclaimed local theater artist is bringing his one-person show to a new Ann Arbor venue this weekend. Rick Sperling's play "A Joyride in Memory Care" follows his powerful -- and often hilarious -- adventures with his trailblazing mother, Doris Sperling, through dementia and Memory Care. Actor-writer-director Rick Sperling, most known for founding Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, portrays the entire cast of characters in this 90 minute play which runs this weekend at the new Ann Arbor space Forge Theater.
