PLAY: A Scientific Soirée
At PLAY: A Scientific Soirée, we’ll celebrate our organization’s work by lighting up the Museum’s galleries after dark and transforming the space into an adults-only fundraising party. Unleash your inner child with hands-on science experiments, screenprint your very own tote bag to take home with you, participate in exciting games of chance, and collaboratively solve puzzles with special guest Tracy Bennett, Wordle Editor for The New York Times.
Local band Ain’t Dead Yet and DJ Buff1 will perform live music throughout the Museum, so wear your dancing shoes. And don't forget to bring an appetite—a curated selection of strolling dishes and drinks will be provided by Blue Tractor, Jolly Pumpkin, Mammoth Distilling, Pilar’s Tamales, The Ravens Club, and TeaHaus.
By supporting PLAY, you are broadening access to STEM programs and experiences for our Southeast Michigan community. Last year, we directed over $65,000 in scholarship funding for schools, and 1 in 5 of our general admission visitors utilized our EBT discount. Our goal of providing equitable program access to over 325,000 individuals next year is only possible with you!
Thank you to our event sponsors: Domino’s, Bank of Ann Arbor, Barnes & Thornburg, Old National Bank, Hylant, Forward Design Build Remodel, Menlo Innovations, and Wacker.
