Returning for her second appearance at Kerrytown Concert House, acclaimed local jazz vocalist and rising star, Olivia Van Goor, will pay a heartfelt tribute to the First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald. Renowned for her impeccable swing and virtuosic scat singing, Ella’s legacy spans far beyond her most famous hits. Audiences will delight in beloved classics like “Oh, Lady Be Good” and “How High the Moon,” as well as hidden gems Olivia affectionately calls Ella’s “underrated gold.” Joined by a stellar jazz trio, Olivia brings Ella’s story to life in an intimate evening of song, honoring the spirit and soul of the Queen of Jazz.

10-piece big band led by Chris Smith, specializing in hot jazz of the 1920s and 30s. Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver, Duke Ellington and other jazz legends are prominent in their repertoire. Great for listening or dancing.

It’s engagement season and 20 something Kinzley, an assistant and aspiring writer for BANGS! Magazine, is still single and turning 30 on Christmas Day! She returns home to her small town of Whispering Pines to celebrate the double engagement of her sister and dad (not to each other). If she can win the affections of Eric Silverspoon, she can make it a triple engagement, receive a promotion, and make all her dreams come true this Christmas!
