Ann Arbor City Council To Meet Online

As a result of COVID-19, Ann Arbor City Council will host an electronic meeting next week, instead of meeting in person.
An executive order issued by Governor Gretchen Whitmer allows city council to meet remotely to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.  Mayor Christopher Taylor says the order temporarily suspends the Open Meetings Actrequirement of meeting in person.

"There will absolutely be public comment. There will be public hearings. The public will have an opportunity to be able to communicate with members of council and the public on matters of municipal interest as they always do"

Technical issues are still being worked out.
