Ann Arbor Public Schools Close

Ann Arbor Public Schools

The Ann Arbor Public School District is closing for the rest of March to help prevent the potential spread of the Coronavirus.

Superintendent Dr. Jeanice Swift issued a statement Thursday, saying school would be in session for half a day Friday and then close until April.

Swift says they took this action out of an abundance of caution, and not because of any known case of Coronavirus.

The district tends to tentatively re-open on April 6th, after the end of its scheduled spring break.
