A Washtenaw County Brownfield program analysis revealed positive impacts that type of project has on the community.
Over 1,900 jobs have been created or retained in Washtenaw County because of local projects. NathanVoght, who is the county's Brownfield redevelopment coordinator, says protecting residents and the environment continue to be a top priority.

15 projects have been completed, and another five are underway.
